Welcome to Mohan Estate Welfare Association (MEWA)
Mohan Estate Welfare Association (‘MEWA’) is a duly registered society of plot owners and constituents of Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate. With more than 100 stakeholders and lessees/owners of properties in the Industrial Estate Area, the intention of establishing this society is to safeguard the well-being of the members as well as of the society. Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate (MCIE) is a prime complex of Offices, showrooms and industry spread in a 7.2 k.m. stretch on Main Mathura Road, New Delhi. Mohan Estate was established in Delhi, India in 1967. It was one of the first industrial estates in the country and played a key role in the development of Indian industry. The estate was developed by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and was designed to provide an integrated infrastructure for industrial development. The location of the Estate makes it unique owing to its proximity to NOIDA, Gurugram, Faridabad and also the heart of the city – Connaught Place. Today it is a hub for sectors in Finance, Information Technology, Pharma, Automobile and other non pollutant industries, and we are populated by the likes of WIPRO, SONY, PANACEA BIOTECH, HERO FINANCE, AMAZON to count a few.
President’s Message
I am very glad to announce the start of a much-needed community welfare initiative for the Plot/factory owners in Mohan Cooperative – MEWA. Mohan Estate is an elite industrial area standing for at least 60 years and yet we do not have basic facilities such as water, sewage, roads and so much more. The need is for all of us to get together under the umbrella of a strong and dynamic Association has ended with the foundation of MEWA. The goal is to create a sense of brotherhood, co-operation, mutual harmony, love, and affection amongst the Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate/members of the society and also amongst the general public.

Vice-President’s Message
Creating this collective association MEWA was a much-needed initiative. Mohan Cooperative is one of the most well-located Industrial area of NCR. Yet we have survived decades without basic amenities like roads, sewer, and water. All because we did not have a welfare body in place. Now we do – “MEWA”. We have to now embark on the long journey of ensuring provision of what is rightfully needed in our Industrial Zone. Your President, Secretary and the core committee are dynamic and committed persons and I am certain they will achieve our defined goals. Of course, we need the participation and cooperation of all the stakeholders of Mohan Cooperative.
